Activity ?

I would really wish that it would be possible to increase activity in the guild a bit.

They way things appear to me is:
* most members haven't registered on this forum
* several members haven't been online at all since I returned to WoW (this includes both low level chars and high level chars).
* the ooc-channel rarely have more than 50-60% HoS members in it. The rest are alts (for some I have no clue who they are)
* there are even members who do come online from time to time, but I haven't seen them doing a single thing with the guild "in person"/IC'ly or even just speak in /hosooc
etc.

I realise that we all have real lives that take up time, and that ones schedules don't always match everyone else.
I also realise that we (may) have some members that are alts and therefore not necessarily very active IC'ly (but they -could- be ooc'ly then?!).
I fully understand that since I haven't been back in WoW for all that long, and both Cata and Defias is new to me, many have already done a lot of the things that I'm doing atm. (dungeons, BG, raid finder etc.).

However, I really hope that those of us that -do- come online, could find the energy and interest to do more things with other guildies.
It doesn't have to involve "personal gain", drops, XP or whatever. It could just be to strengthen the bond between members, increase the interest in doing things together and so on?!

Over the last few days and couple of people have left for various reasons. Noctemis (turned into a Troll and had to leave, but still a great loss imo), Xoran (long time friend from SSL) and last night Kelivar (dunno why she left).

I just hope that we don't lose active people due to lack of interest or lack of OOC/IC activity in the guild, and I'd hate to see more of those who actually come online leaving as well...
So...less talking, more doing people!

Thoughts and input is of course welcome.

I have't been on much last few days I admit. But I will be on more IC and oocly. Going to makea topic where people can list alts so we knows who's who in the ooc channel as I can be on alot but on other chars. Also I didn't know about Noctemis it's sad to hear. But I do have some plans for IC events soon for thoese of a more sinister nature and military types. Will also try and boost abit of casual RP going and be more active in the keep. Also going to try and get a boost up with recruitment. Early stages of guilds is always abit unstable. We will push through it and grow to a nice size with a good amount of activity.

I've not been as active as I should be recently. Been VERY busy with the end of uni and work placements and band rehearsals.

But, will keep things on track and keep recruiting.

Hopefully we can get a new deputy GM appointed and some more people willing to take on officer responsibilities.

Will be happy to do IC interviews reguarding military type members and also being able to invite and uninvite will make things easier, as I have had interest but having to wait for some one to invite makes it difficult and by that time they have found another guild.

Ah woops - admin mistake then! As atm, 2nd rank and up should have been able to invite members! Will fix that now.

Great stuff boss man. Will try and get some active recruitment going on tonight. Do you have a base of questions you want me to work from, or just a nice random IC chat?
